At Canton Grand Safari, we're not just a zoo - we're an adventure waiting to be discovered. Purchase a cup of feed from our gift shop and take a walk on the wild side in our walk-about facility. Here, baby goats will follow you around, giant sulcata tortoises lounge in the sun, and Strawberry, our adorable Kunekune pig, is always ready for some attention. Our petting zoo animals can't wait to meet you and enjoy some treats.
Then make sure to ask about our interactive Exotic Animal Encounters where you join some of our amazing animals for some hands on fun.

Beginning Fall 2025, our zoo will officially transition to a seasonal schedule.
SPRING - SUMMER - FALL SEASONS

Open daily (closed Tuesdays)⏰ 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
WINTER SEASON
(November 1 – February 28)
The zoo will be closed to daily public visits during the winter season.
HOWEVER, we’re still here for you with our year around monthly events!
(During our Winter Season we will continue offer Private Events on and off site, Adult's Night at the Zoo and Family Nights at the Zoo).
HAPPENING YEAR AROUND HERE AT THE ZOO:

As of April 2023, we're excited to announce that the zoo is under new ownership, and we're embarking on a thrilling journey of transformation. With numerous renovations and expansions currently underway, 2024 promises to bring an array of exciting additions, including a host of new exotic animals and massive improvements to enhance your zoo experience.
